Bank services will be changed from 20th January 2018 & New Rules For Banking
It may be too heavy to go to a bank branch since January 20. All the government and private sectors bank are preparing to charge for all the services offered in the branches whiOch are so far free.
The fee will be reviewed for some features. These facilities include facilities like withdrawal, depositing, changing mobile number, KYC, address change, net banking and application for cheque book.
Apart from the branch at which you have your account, you will be charged separately on any other branch and banking services taking Fees will also have a GST of the fee. This charge will be deducted from your account.
A senior official of Bank of India has confirmed such a move. The official says that internal orders have been received for new charges. On condition of anonymity, an official said, "We follow the RBI guidelines. According to the rules, the board of the concerned bank decides to charge all the standards and check the charges levied on the services. Only after the board is sealed, it is finalized.
"This step will affect the account holders across the country. However, bankers have said this step correctly. They say that if the account holder takes banking services from any branch other than his home branch, then the fee should be charged. Another official said, "
This step will encourage online banking. Over time, cheque and demand draft will also become irrelevant. "Passbook updation and money transactions from ATM and CASK machines can still be made free
